Our ceremony was held at Stanford Memorial Church in the Main Quad on Stanford campus for sentimental reasons. Also, it's a beautiful venue that photographs really well - only catch is that you have to be an alum or the child of an alum to be married there. Our reception was held at Ralston Hall on the campus of Notre Dame University in Belmont. A historical mansion that also photographs really well. It comes with it's own Bambi! Our honeymoon suite was at the recently remodeled Crown Plaza Cabana Hotel down El Camino in Palo Alto. We visited all the hotels in the area and felt this had the most spacious rooms and best floor plan per unit. Jade Studio provided both the photography and videography for our wedding. Many thanks to our photographers Soojin Lee and Marlin Lum and our videographer Frederic Choisel. We couldn't have chosen more talented, devoted team who clearly love their work! Mich designed our invites, recreating each of the Chinese papercuts in vectorized format. The final product : 2 double sided satin finish postcards, were printed at 4by6 in S.F. La Boca Fina catering provided the delicious food for our cocktail hour and reception dinner. We chose them coz their appetizers are to die for. Our wedding cake was made by Chef Bala at Cakemaker. Our food committee agrees that he has the best tasting cake in S.F. (The floral design was by Karen Baba, our florial designer from Plan Decor.) Florals were by Karen Baba from Plan Decor. Mich fell in love with Karen's work at the Ralston Hall wedding fair and gave her free reign to design fun whimsical arrangements for the wedding. Karen is truly a creative designer who works wonders with her medium. Hair and make-up for Mich, the four Bridesmaids and Mich's Mom were by Debbie Ma and Tran from Faces By Debbie / Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. They did a fantastic job, plus they are really sweet and work really fast! Bernado from Soundz Unique provided the beats for our wedding. Our ex-club promoter bro-in-law, Oscar used to party with him so we knew he was going to be great. We got our rings within a block of each other off University Ave in Palo Alto. Dave bought Mich's ring at Arnoldi Jewelers. It was designed by Italian artisan Renato Ranucci. Mich bought Dave's at Mansoor & Goore Jewelers. The design is by Niessing, a German design house. Dave's tux ensemble is by Hugo Boss. The Groomsmen wore Tommy Hilfinger 2 button tuxes rented at After Hours. All the ladies wore Vera Wang gowns. Mich's was from Sak's Fifth and the Bridesmaids' were from Marina Morrison.
